Plastic Chairs can be a portable long lasting solution. Especially if you have ventilated plastic stackable chairs. They are easy to store and move around and are even comfortable to sit on. I have some very nice chairs from Restoration Hardware in my back patio, but I wanted some chairs for my front porch. Maybe I'm just being paranoid but I have seen things stolen from the front. I didn't want to worry about losing my expensive chairs and I found affordable plastic chairs to be the perfect solution.
These chairs I purchased were inexpensive, portable, and they look nice, and are comfortable. They are also still there so maybe my paranoia was unfounded. Never the less plastic chairs can be a quick solution for instant seating needs. They are stackable and easy to store and you can leave them out in the elements, no mildew or rust. After time the plastic can fade in the sun, but most people don't have their sitting area in the direct sunlight.
Another great plastic chair choice is the plastic Adirondack chairs, these look great and don't fade like the wooden ones. They are also super comfortable. The thing that makes Adirondack chairs so distinctive is the foot stool. Which when added to the chair it makes it seem more like a lounger. I could enjoy one of these with a cold drink and a good book for a wonderful lazy afternoon. Another great option is the plastic lounge chair.
I like to keep a nice selection of plastic stackable chairs in my garage in case I have several guests and an impromptu BBQ. If the stacking chair is not quite the look you are going for you can also find a nice selection of plastic patio chairs to choose from. Another great bargain is the plastic children's chairs. Kids love having their very own seating area with chairs just their size. Also with the wide selection available today, it's easy to find a children's chair that is exactly like the adult chairs.
